Two Markets, One Backend: Launching a Staffing Platform Across India and the US

The Problem
Challenge
Defitex needed to launch in two countries at the same time. India and the US. Different audiences, different services, same underlying business. They needed landing pages that convert ad traffic, a database to store leads, automated email notifications, and campaign tracking that tells you which ads are working. Competitors were already established in both markets, so speed mattered.
The Approach
How I thought about it
One Supabase backend. Two Next.js frontends. The India site handles B2B staffing for domestic companies. The US site targets American businesses looking for remote talent from India. Both feed into the same lead database with full UTM attribution. When a lead comes in, Resend fires an email to the sales team and sends a confirmation to the prospect. Everything is logged. You can trace every conversion back to the exact ad, keyword, and campaign.
The Build
What was built
- Built defitex.in and defitex.us as separate Next.js apps sharing one Supabase backend. One database, two markets.
- UTM capture and storage for every lead. Source, medium, campaign, term, content. All tracked.
- Resend email automation. Sales team gets notified in under 30 seconds. Prospect gets a confirmation. Both are templated and automatic.
- Landing pages built for conversion, not aesthetics. Clear offer, clear CTA.
- Google Ads and Meta Ads conversion tracking via GTM and GA4. Server-side events for accuracy.
- Analytics dashboard showing lead quality, source performance, and conversion rates per market.
